• The Evangelical Methodist Church is located at 1736 Whiteford Road, Darlington, Maryland 21034.

• Established in 1953, EMC came out of the United Methodist Church denomination because of emerging apostasy. Shortly afterward, the national Evangelical Methodist conference was founded, with EMC as a charter member.

• The mission of EMC remains today, as it was at its beginning, to preach the Word of God revealed through His son, Jesus Christ, holding forth the Scriptures as inspired of God, without fault or error (see our Position Papers).

• EMC is afilliated with the American Council of Christian Churches and The Evangelical Methodist Church National Conference.

The Evangelical Methodist Church ministries include that of Harford Christian School. The school upholds the same Scriptural standards as does the church. Those standards have been carefully and prayerfully researched, then published in a series of Position Papers which give a clear sense of their guiding principles.
